Is my file uploaded?
Yes. Encryption runs on Swoopty’s server with qpdf. The file and password travel over HTTPS, are never logged, and the files are deleted when you download the result or after 15 minutes at most.
What encryption is used?
AES-256 (PDF 2.0 / Acrobat X standard). Very old PDF readers may not open it.
Can Swoopty recover a forgotten password?
No. Keep the password safe; without it the file cannot be opened.
